Nalapani

The Battle of Nalapani in the Anglo-Nepalese War (1814–1816) was a key conflict between the British East India Company and Nepal. The battle occurred near Dehradun, with Captain Balbhadra Kunwar leading the Nepalese against British Major-General Rollo Gillespie, who died on day one. The film by director Rimesh Adhkari is the first cinematic depiction of this war in Nepal, presenting a groundbreaking and commendable perspective on the historic event.
